Dolltown

Dolltown is a town that exists in a 1:6 scall somewhere in this world. (Do you have one in your room?) Many dolls live in Dolltown every day like we do. They eat, sleep, go to school, and work. They have friends and family just like us!

I would like to share about some residents of my Dolltown.

Amelia Kito (Author)

Amelia Kito is a Japanese Canadian graphic novelist celebrated for her irresistibly kawaii illustration style. Born and raised in Dolltown, BC, she debuted with Cats Rule the Street in February 2024, a heartwarming and whimsical tale published by Tinytale Press. In December 2024, she launched Space Cats, the first installment of a four-part series blending adorable art with adventurous storytelling.

Known for her love of good coffee and all things sweet, Amelia continues to charm readers worldwide with her playful imagination and unique artistic voice.

Brian Barlowe (Author)

Brian Barlowe has always been fascinated by ghost stories and the supernatural. From spooky tales told around campfires to old legends about haunted places, he’s always loved exploring the unknown.

With a background in history, Brian has traveled to many haunted locations, learning their stories and mysteries. His first book, Book of Ghost Stories, is a collection of creepy tales inspired by his adventures and imagination.

Brian lives in a small town by the sea, much like the mysterious Raven’s Point in his book. There, he continues to write about ghosts, legends, and everything strange and unexplained.

New Doll Times Magazine November 2024: ifiwereadoll

Do you like miniature books? I love miniature books. The book is one of the first items I made for my dolls. When I started making miniatures for Barbie dolls back in 2020, I used to make simple miniature books by cutting and gluing papers. It was easy but looked...you know, not so great. Haha. Thanks to creators like this month's guest for New Doll Times Magazine, there are a lot of miniature book printables available online! This month, the magazine featured Luma, the owner of an independent bookstore in a dolltown created by Chris from  @ifiwereadoll . Luma's bookstore is called The Boreal Quill, a unique one-of-a-kind bookstore.  The Boreal Quill has a great selection of books, hosts book releases and signing events , and offers  a book-swapping program. How cool is this!? So far, two popular authors, Daho  Johansen and Kite Labile, had their book events. You can download their books from here  👉 Printables By Chris @ifiwereadoll Let's dive into the in...
