Ken And Barbie Are Over!? Dolltown Daily News Reported

Today's post includes stories of a Ken doll, a great laugh, and a miniature newspaper printable.

Have you seen posts by Julia @plasticplot on Instagram? Do you know she started a second account @justken61 dedicated just to Ken? Julia's posts are so funny and one of a kind. On her second account (@justken61), Ken is going through self-discovery. He has been Barbie's boyfriend (like in Barbie the movie) and realizes he is not appreciated enough...Here are some posts that I like and summarize Ken's self-discovery journey:

Dolltown Daily News

When I asked Julia if she was interested in being featured in New Doll Times Magazine, a 1:6 scale miniature magazine printable, she suggested the idea of using Dolltown Daily News (also a 1:6 scale miniature printable) in her story on Instagram. This is how today's printable was created.

As usual, I input some information about Ken's stories leading up to the breakup and asked ChatGPT to write an article for this miniature printable. 

Julia just posted an Instagram post using the newspaper printable today. You can download a printable here and deliver the shocking news to your doll.

In My Dolltown...

Here are some pictures that I took with today's printable. Brian enjoys reading the newspaper while he is eating his mac and cheese. This mac and cheese is made by my daughter. I think it's realistic and she did a great job!

Cute Children's Book "I Love You" Miniature Printable

 My daughter and I have been working on making a miniature children's book printable for a while. We wanted to make a book you could read which means we needed to design and write something meaningful. So it took a while, but finally, we finished! New Doll Times Magazine November 2024: ifiwereadoll

Do you like miniature books? I love miniature books. The book is one of the first items I made for my dolls. When I started making miniatures for Barbie dolls back in 2020, I used to make simple miniature books by cutting and gluing papers. It was easy but looked...you know, not so great. Haha. Thanks to creators like this month's guest for New Doll Times Magazine, there are a lot of miniature book printables available online! This month, the magazine featured Luma, the owner of an independent bookstore in a dolltown created by Chris from  @ifiwereadoll .
